A weather system has come in and brought some choppy seas with it. Of course, it didn’t stop our guests from getting to calmer fishing grounds for a nice day of fishing.
As the seas died down the fishing picked up significantly. Coho have really on the rise these days with some boats seeing upwards of 30 a day with close to an even split between wild and hatchery.
Springs are not so common but we did have a pair come in today that were both over 30 lbs!
Halibut fishing is still going strong with dozens coming in each day and there have been quite a few between 30 and 70 lbs.
As for the next few days, weather is supposed to be quite nice so let’s hope for the best for all the fisherman.
