Whether you’re BC salmon fishing, halibut fishing or bottom fishing, every fish caught at Canadian Princess Resort will be professionally cleaned and packaged by our crew. No more fish guts and fillet knives — all you need to do is fish!
Your fish will be cleaned (either on the cruiser or when you return to the dock), packaged in strong plastic bags and refrigerated during your stay with us. We encourage you to bring your own coolers and gel packs to transport your catch. Additionally, Styrofoam coolers can be purchased at the resort.
Guests on fly-in BC fishing packages will have their catch flown to Vancouver. Insulated fish boxes can be purchased at the airport for further transport. There is a nominal fish cleaning charge on afternoon fishing charters.
If you would like to have your fish canned or smoked, we can arrange for your fish to be transported to St. Jean’s Cannery in Nanaimo at a reasonable cost. St. Jean’s offers a wide variety of processing options, and will forward your fish directly to you once it is ready.
