It is extremely nice to have it sunny and summer-like again. The spirits are high, along with the catch numbers. If you are looking for some nice chicken halibut to fill the freezer or BBQ, now's the time! The salmon are showing up in strong numbers as well; a good mix of chinooks and hatchery cohos.

We would also like to invite one and all to the Canada Day Celebration that will be happening at the Canadian Princess (Saturday July 1st). There will be a beer garden and live band, all proceeds go to the Ucluelet Volunteer Fire Brigade to help their efforts in purchasing a new rescue truck. See you there!
