Wow, what a great month July was! We caught lots of fish, had lots of sun and most importantly, had a whole lot of fun! We can’t wait to see what August has in store for us.
Here’s a quick recap of what’s been happening lately:
Fishing continues to be hot, with the Raven Princess picking up 14 fish in one drift recently. The Kingfisher also continues to bring in loads of fish. Robert Comer and Nick Kirk (pictured above) decided to take a trip on the Kingfisher yesterday and with the help of Skipper Steve caught some nice salmon, including a couple 20+ pounders (22 and 23 pounds)!
Speaking of the Kingfisher, we finally have a name for our new boat! After carefully reviewing all the submissions from our Facebook contest we have decided on the winner. From here on our Kingfisher will now be called…
THE TYEE PRINCESS!
Congratulations to Cris Martin and Doug Middagh, who have both won themselves a trip on our new Kingfisher 2825 for suggesting the name. An honourable mention goes to "Ain't No Princess," submitted by Kerri Gills. The name had us all laughing and was nearly declared the winner. A big thank you to everyone who entered the contest and hopefully you'll all have a chance to take a trip on the new Tyee Princess!
We’ve had sunny skies all week and the great weather is supposed to carry on into the weekend. Feel free to stop by and say hello if you’re in the neighbourhood. We’d love to see you!
