Getting to the Resort
The Canadian Princess Resort is permanently moored in a tranquil bay in Ucluelet. Guests driving to the resort can select one of several ferry routes to Vancouver Island. Following the Island Highway north, take the Port Alberni (Highway 4) exit and continue on to Ucluelet. The Canadian Princess Resort is located on the left hand side as you enter Ucluelet. The driving time from Nanaimo to Ucluelet is approximately 2 ½ hours; 4 ½ hours from Victoria.

Parking at the Canadian Princess is complimentary, although we cannot accommodate overnight parking of recreational vehicles.
All fly-in packages to the Canadian Princess Resort begin at and return to the South Terminal of the Vancouver International Airport and are operated by our air partner Pacific Coastal Airlines. The Oak Bay Marine Group counter is located across from the food court in the South Terminal. After check in at Oak Bay Marine Group’s counter at the South Terminal, your adventure begins with a scenic 40-minute flight to Long Beach on Vancouver Island. From Long Beach, you will be transferred by bus to the resort. MSN's MapPoint online maps provide directions from downtown Seattle to the South Terminal. Driving time from Seattle is approximately 2 ½ hours.
Parking is available at the South Terminal at a reasonable price. Meters accept Visa, MasterCard and coins only.
Direct from Washington
For guests travelling from Washington, direct flights to Tofino/Ucluelet airport are now available with Kenmore Air. Kenmore flies throughout the week from Boeing Field (near Sea-Tac).
You can also take the Victoria Clipper harbour to harbour from downtown Seattle to Victoria and drive up scenic Vancouver Island to the resorts.
Flight Connections in Vancouver
If you are arriving from a point other than the Vancouver/Lower Mainland area, we encourage you to arrive in Vancouver the day prior to your departure. If you will be flying home afterwards, we also recommend that you stay overnight in Vancouver on the last day of your trip. Connections could be missed due to weather, air traffic congestion or other unforeseen delays. Oak Bay Marine Group is not responsible for any such delays.
