It's been exciting here in Ucluelet the last few days. The buzz about the fishing is out there, and it is attracting scores of eager fisherpeople. Whether it is halibut, salmon, or rockfish and lingcod, this is the opportunity to fill your cooler.
Take Brad Morrison of Alberta hauling a 26 pound Chinook salmon to the scale. Or how about Cory Bennett bringing in a 27 pound ling cod.
Or how about June 10th: Curtis Clark from Washington with his “bucket head” 39 pound Ling. What could be better? Maybe the 75 pound halibut caught by Zach Hinton from Washington.
Then there was Jay Abar from BC with a 50 pound halibut after an extended day of fishing at Big Bank. And Harvey Civrysek from Calgary brought in a 22 pound Chinook the same day.
Nice job everyone!
