There's only one word to describe the fishing in Ucluelet - smoking. Boats scheduled for a seven-hour salmon fishing trip are limiting out within hours of leaving. The waters are thick with salmon and halibut and the skippers are keyed into the best locations and techniques. Staff are quoted as saying it's just terrific, hot fishing, fabulous. The weather continues to be excellent with record temperatures reached inland. Great crews, wonderful weather and hot fishing all add up to an excellent trip.
