New Halibut Record!

Canadian Princess Resort - May 8, 2005

Well, the sun keeps trying to poke out, but the clouds are being a little stubborn, only letting so much through! We actually had a few drops of rain today! The size of the halibut being caught by our guests are only getting bigger as the days go by! Our new "May Madness" record for halibut is now an 85 pounder caught by Wesley of Surrey, BC! Way to go Wes! Unfortunaley in the last report the Chinook record was stated as a 23 pounder caught by Steve of Whistler, BC, but since it wasn't caught in the morning tide, the record stands at a 22lb Chinook caught by Warren of Pomeroy, WA. Sorry for the mistake! Brian of Port Alberni, BC brought in a huge Lingcod today weighing at 30 lbs and standing as our "Catch of the Day"!

Tight Lines and Good Luck as our "May Madness" continues!!
