New May Madness leader
Canadian Princess Resort - May 24, 2007There’s a new May Madness halibut record: Jesse Alurs from WA caught a nice 32 ½ lb. halibut yesterday. Congratulations!
The King of the Salmon lately has been Russell Koshowski from Alberta. He had the catch of the day yesterday and today with 14 lb. and 23 lb. Chinooks.
Halibut fishing is picking up, especially around the south bank. Bottom fishing is humming along nicely, too — Carla, our filleter, draws crowds when she’s preparing the day’s catch.
