Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby
The Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby is in its 3rd year of fundraising for local salmon enhancement. For only $10 each day you can join in Ucluelet's summer long derby where monthly winnings totalling over $60,000 in cash and prizes can be won. The monthly big catches are invited back to participate in the 2012 Fish Off where more cash and prizes can be won. Fish Off Prizes are based on ticket sales so get your ticket today. $10,000 prize package to the largest fish and $250,000 hidden weight prize for matching the hidden weight. May 1st to September 2nd - Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby
Participate in the 3rd Annual Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby and help us raise our goal of $10,000 for the salmon enhancement projects on Vancouver Island's west coast!
You too can fish in the biggest fishing event on the west coast, and have the chance to win some great prizes!
March 16th to 24th - Pacific Rim Whale Festival
Join Ucluelet and Tofino in celebrating the annual return of thousands of migrant whales as they begin passing through the offshore waters.
June 9th – Edge to Edge Marathon
This marathon relay from Ucluelet to Tofino winds its way past old growth forests and beautiful beaches. Get a team together and give it a try!
June 16th to 18th - The Van Isle 360° 2013 International Yacht Race
This is a biennial, 580 nautical mile point-to-point race circumnativating Vancouver Island. Known for harbouring some of the most stunning and challanging waters in the world, this race is an exciting opportunity for locals and tourists alike.
July 1st – Canada Day
Celebrate Canada’s birthday at the Canadian Princess Resort
July 1st to 15th – Pacific Rim Summer Festival
This event showcases chamber music and multi-cultural concerts featuring national and international performers. 2013 marks the 25th year!
July 26th to 28th – Ukee Days
With a salmon BBQ, pancake breakfast, parade, Logger sports, kids games, live entertainment, food, crafts and great prizes, it's fun for the whole family!
