Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby – $60,000 in Prizes

Huge prizes and huge thrills are coming to the Canadian Princess Resort this summer, one of the hosts of the Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby.

Whether you fish for guts or glory, this year you can fish for incredible cash prizes during the new Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby.

Throughout the derby, the 50 largest salmon (all five species of Pacific salmon are eligible) caught will be continuously ranked on the derby’s web site in a ladder format.

In September the top 50 fishers will compete in a “fish-off” over three days (dates to be determined) for an estimated $30,000 cash prize.
