Celebrate the opening of the salmon and halibut fishing seasons with May Madness at the Canadian Princess Resort.
For 31 crazy days, the Canadian Princess crew will be giving out great prizes for the top salmon and halibut catches.
How does it work?
- Book your May fishing trip to the Canadian Princess
- Catch the biggest salmon or halibut you can
- Weigh it in
- If you beat the season to date record, you win a swank prize courtesy of the Canadian Princess Resort!
The overall winner for May – in both the salmon and halibut categories – will win a free trip to the Canadian Princess in May, 2008.
2007 Winners!
After an exciting month we’re pleased to announce our two May Madness fishing derby winners: Rod Palmer from Nanaimo, BC and Greg Chan from Burnaby, BC.
Rod takes the top salmon price with a sweet 29 ½ lb. Chinook caught aboard the Pachena Princess in the final days of the competition.
Greg brings home the big hali trophy for landing his 74 lb. halibut while fishing on the Salmon Princess.
Both Rod and Greg have won a free trip back to the Canadian Princess in 2008 — congratulations!
